These
questions are based on queries from existing and potential
customers. Please don't hesitate to contact
us if your question isn't answered here.
Q.
One of your product's disclaimers says that I cannot
sell it. I thought I had resell rights to everything.
A. You do. We've paid a lot of money to make sure you
do. Many products are sold by their creators as standalones,
with master resell rights available to people like us
who will pay extra for them for the benefit of our members.
But those creators don't create a separate product for
us...they simply provide us with sales pages and so forth
to include with the product when we offer it to our
members. Our members then can use the sales material to
sell the product to their customers. But...unless you
get master resell rights yourself to the product, you
can't include the rights for your customers to
resell the product. At that point, having the product
say 'you can't sell it' really means it.
Q.
What is the difference between resell rights and master
resell rights.
A. If you download a R4P product that says 'Comes with
resell rights" in the description, that means you
can resell the product. If the description says "Comes
with master resell rights", you can sell both the
product and the rights for your buyer to also sell the
product.
Q.
If it says Master Resell Rights, doesn't that mean
I can sell master resell rights as well, not just resell
rights?
A. If it says Master Resell Rights and has no restrictions
on those rights, then yes.
Q.
One product says I have master resell rights but that
I can't sell master resell rights myself. That doesn't
make any sense. If I have "master" rights, then
I should be able to do anything I want with it, right?
A. Unfortunately, this starts moving into legal areas
that we cannot provide any advice on. Keep in mind that
'resell' rights doesn't mean you own the rights to the
product itself. We recommend contacting the creator.
Q.
Some of these products say they can't be given away
free or included in membership areas. Yet I've seen them
being given away free. What's the deal?
A. Again, this starts moving into legal areas that we
cannot provide any advice on. In our experience, most
of these products do, indeed, start being given away within
a few months of coming to market. They seem to be 'make
a quick buck' products for the creators who fairly quickly
don't seem to care what happens to them because every
product (particularly ebooks) that gets into someone's
hands is a potential source of new revenue for them.
It may be that these disclaimers are simply meant for
the short term, and that the creators assume they will
be violated within months. But that doesn't mean you should
assume that's true.
Indeed, why not simply contact the creator and ask? They
may give you permission - I'd be surprised if they didn't
if the product has been out for a while - and then you
don't have to worry. Better safe than sorry.
Q.
Do you provide
support for the products I sell?
A. We will provide basic support to you for all of our
downloads. Basic support means providing instructions
on things like how to unzip a file or install software.
It also means that if you email us and ask "This
says to put this script in my header. What does that mean?"...
we will tell you what to do and how to do it. (Basic
download instructions.)
It
does not, however, mean providing detailed instructions
on installing a script on a server or setting up a turnkey
site for you. (We will do these things, but there would
be a fee.)
We
also do not provide support to your customers.
Obviously you can ask us how to do something and pass
that information onto your customers, but any customer
support you provide to your customers is up to you.
Please
feel free to ask for our help, though. What we think is
basic and what you think is may actually work to your
benefit :-)
Q.
What type of payments will you accept?
A. We accept both PayPal
and credit card payments via 2Checkout.
Q.
Will you accept a check, money order or Western Union
payment.
A. Generally speaking, no. We may make an
exception, but there would be at least a 4 week delay
between payment and access to the membership area.
Q.
Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
A.
No, we do not. As with most download membership sites
nowadays, we have discontinued such a guarantee due to
the far-too-many scam artists out there.
To compensate for this, we provide a products
page as well as the ability for non-members to search
for products in the Members area. In addition, we
will be glad to answer any questions about whether or
not we offer specific products for download.
Not
only that, but we listen to clients and potential clients
and do our best to make sure we offer what you
are looking for! Just ask!
Q. Do I have the rights to this membership site as well?
A. No, you don't. You have rights to the various products according to the terms of each product as well as our terms of service.
Q.
I just received an email from someone selling something
like you do and they do offer a money-back guarantee.
You need to offer a money-back guarantee, too.
A. Besides the fact that no one offers the number of products
that we do, every ad that we have seen that emphasizes
'money-back guarantee' -- and we stay on top of this --
is not only selling products that we already include in
our membership areas, but they are selling products that
are available elsewhere for less money...and are only
selling a few products. They are assuming you won't know
this.
